We had to split this one into 2 parts also. Ol' School and New School since the overall top 10 were all old school artists. Some even made both countdowns. WOW!!! O.k, THIS is truly my best show yet! I did it in "mixtape" format but I cant call it a mixtape unless I'm actually mixing, cutting, and blending the records. A lot of D.J.s got the game messed up with what they call a mixtape! Anyway, this show is a tribute to our new president Barack Obama. We as a people came together to let our voices be heard by voting for our new president! I didnt just throw something together like an average D.J. There was a lot of research and work done to this and I am so proud to let you hear it. You also wont hear a bunch of yelling with annoying echoes! The music speaks for itself. The first half of the of the show is the Campaign and the second half is the Celebration. During the campaign you will hear songs that were inspired by Prsident-elect Obama's campaign starting from "Black President" by Nas and ending with the "Pop Champagne Obama remix" by Ron Browz featuring Busta Rhymes. You will hear songs that you probably didnt know existed which is why I chose to do this. I also put in songs that represent the struggle during that period. Just listen to the overall message from all the songs and the order that they were placed. The second half of the show is the Celebration and will feature songs from major and local artists. There are songs that celebrate our new president and the rest are just hot new party songs. I had these songs before most DJs and even radio stations! I'm exclusive baby!!! Just check the track listings below. I put a lot of effort in this from start to finish and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it.
